As planning continues for this year’s Scottish Podcast Awards, we’re delighted to confirm Go Studios by Go Radio as our Official Media Partner.
The partnership brings together two organisations with a shared focus on supporting Scotland’s podcasting and audio community from independent creators at the start of their journey to established productions shaping the industry today.
Go Studios is Scotland’s newest purpose-built podcast and content creation hub, combining modern recording facilities with the broadcast experience of Go Radio. Through the partnership, Go Studios will help bring the Awards to life across the build-up to the ceremony, with behind-the-scenes access, interviews with nominees and winners, and wider coverage across Go Radio’s platforms.
For Go Radio, the collaboration reflects a wider commitment to Scotland’s creative audio scene. Managing Director Rochelle Clemente said the partnership is about giving space and visibility to the voices driving the medium forward:
“Scotland’s podcasting scene is rich with creativity, originality and passion, and Go Studios was created to give those voices a world-class platform. We’re excited to shine a spotlight on the brilliant talent being recognised this year.”
The Scottish Podcast Awards celebrate excellence across podcasting, recognising work across storytelling, sound design, factual programming, entertainment and innovation. Each year, the Awards aim to reflect the breadth of voices and formats shaping Scotland’s audio landscape.
For the Awards team, the partnership feels like a natural fit. Corrinne Gardiner, Director of Sixty Steps Productions and Co-Founder of the Scottish Podcast Awards, said:
“Go Studios’ approach closely aligns with the values behind the Scottish Podcast Awards. Their commitment to high-quality audio production and to nurturing Scottish talent aligns perfectly with what the Awards stand for. We’re delighted to be working together as we build towards this year’s ceremony.”
Together, the Scottish Podcast Awards and Go Studios by Go Radio will work to amplify the stories, creators and communities at the heart of Scotland’s podcasting scene in the weeks and months ahead.
