Pitch to Pilot: New Competition Gives Scottish Podcast Creators the Chance to Win a £3,000+ Production Package

The Scottish Podcast Awards has joined forces with Audiotrain and Bespoken Media to launch Pitch to Pilot, an exciting new competition designed to help Scottish podcast and audio creators turn their ideas into professionally produced pilots.

Whether you’re an aspiring podcaster with a brilliant idea or an established creator looking to develop something new, Pitch to Pilot offers the opportunity to access industry expertise, professional production support and funding to bring a podcast concept to life.

The initiative brings together three organisations committed to supporting Scotland’s growing podcast and audio community: Audiotrain, AudioUK’s training programme; award-winning Scottish production company Bespoken Media; and the Scottish Podcast Awards.

What’s up for grabs?

One winning creator will receive a development and production package worth more than £3,000, including:

  • 10 hours of executive and production support
  • Full pilot production a Scottish Podcast studio
  • Editing support
  • Industry mentoring
  • Podcast brand identity
  • Publication of the finished pilot on Bespoken Media’s Made in Scotland podcast feed
  • £1,000 cash prize

It’s an opportunity to take a podcast idea beyond the planning stage and work with experienced industry professionals to create something ready to share with audiences.
